FAQ
Questions organisers ask about Conectus
Discover how Wendy creates your event's look and how Sam, Penny, Andy, Max and Alex prepare everything from setup to sponsor reports. Learn who sees the agents, what it costs, how to begin and what you approve before anything goes live.
The agents
- What do the agents do?
- Six named agents each do a job you used to do by hand. Sam sets up the event, Penny runs the portals, Andy builds the agenda, Max writes the marketing, Wendy designs and builds the website, and Alex reads the numbers and matches people for 1:1 meetings. Each one proposes its work in plain words and waits for your yes.
- What do the agents never do without a yes?
- You see what you are approving: a wording tweak takes one click, an email shows every recipient and the cap first, and a schedule change shows before and after. Every change is visible, and a person always approves sends, charges and deletions. Agents' emails wait for your yes. Scheduled reminders run once you switch them on, with every send shown in the activity feed.
- Can I undo what an agent did?
- Yes. Undo a single proposal or everything an agent did in a run. The confirmation after every approval includes Undo. Before you approve, each proposal shows its reasoning and the checks it ran, so you can see why the agent proposed it.
- Can I work without the agents?
- Yes. Work directly in each page's table, grid, queue or preview by closing the panel for that area's agent. The page works by hand, and your edit stands if you change something an agent proposed. That proposal is then marked superseded.
- Will the agents handle my inbox or email my venue?
- The agents handle the work inside your event. Your inbox, venue correspondence and supplier work stay outside Conectus. Tell the relevant agent the outcome of that work so it can be recorded.
Portals and who sees the agents
- Who sees the agents?
- Penny handles portal questions and chases outstanding work for sponsors, speakers, delegates and providers. Those users meet only Penny and get task-first portals containing tasks, deadlines, agenda and directory, without agent controls in the way. Your team and you see all six agents.
- Can I design my own portal?
- Yes. Wendy designs how your portals look: the colours, type, headers, photos and the style of each section, and the same design is used on your event website, emails and posts, so the whole event looks like one event. Tell her what to change and she shows a new version, and nothing goes live until you approve it. Portals are built from fixed templates, so the tasks, forms and agenda are wired to your event and work on day one. You choose which sections show, their order and the copy. When you ask for something the templates cannot do, Conectus says so and shows a "Request recorded" line. Requests go to the Conectus team, and the most requested become options.
Data, access and hosting
- How is my event's data kept apart from other organisers'?
- Every organiser action checks that the signed-in person belongs to the organisation that owns the event. Row-level security is switched on in the database for every table that holds event data, and a check in our build fails any server query that is not scoped to the event. The security page lists each guard.
- Where is Conectus hosted?
- The application is served from Vercel's Frankfurt region. For anything else about where your data is stored, contact us at hello@conectus.tech.
- Can I see what the agents did?
- Yes. You can trace every action to a person or agent, including the agent's identity and run. These records form an append-only audit trail whose entries cannot be changed or removed afterwards.
Price and getting started
- How is Conectus priced?
- Pricing is shared on request while we onboard our first customers. Send an enquiry using the form on our home page.
- Does Conectus include ticketing and registration?
- Yes, in every plan, with free and paid tickets. Delegates register on the event website Wendy designs and builds, or through a form on your own site, and Penny checks each applicant against your criteria. If you already use a registration or ticketing tool, Sam connects it instead.
- How do I start?
- Send an enquiry with your event, its approximate date and your expected attendees, or ask for a walkthrough. We reply by email, and the walkthrough runs on a call with fictional demo data.
- Who is behind Conectus?
- A team that runs its own conference. TFEST26 takes place in Berlin on 1 December 2026 with Conectus on a stand, and the organisers of that event are the first users.
